Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Los Angeles, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across California run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

Enjoy high quality roasted duck in the middle of Thai Town in Hollywood at this popular and beloved small business. The owners and staff are incredibly kind, warm, and hospitable. The menu is simple and straightforward - get the roasted duck. But if you're here with a large group, try the salads, soups, or curries. Indoor and outdoor seating. Small parking lot in front with ample space if you come early for lunch before 12 pm. Otherwise best of luck with metered street parking along Hollywood Blvd. Caution that if you come too late, there is a chance that they may run out of their coveted roasted duck.

A small place packed filled with roasted duck deliciousness! The duck is tender with crispy skin and is accompanied by your choice of rice or jade noodles. I usually prefer jade noodles, but since they come stand alone topped with crispy garlic, it is a little bland if you do not douse it in the sauces that come with the duck and veggies. I think the rice would have made a tastier meal and would not feel disjointed. I also tried the spicy basil duck which was okay. The crab rolls are amazing. Overall, the duck was the star of the show snd worth the visit alone. You can get a half duck for two or a whole duck for a bit more of a bargain. Staff will also give you a cash/zelle price which will be less than a card price for your meal. Thereโs a couple small tables inside, counter seating, and a few more tables outside. Staff are nice and attentive.

Iโll give it a star because I liked the broth for the duck stew, it was flavorful and mildly sour & spicy. Unfortunately were out of the jade noodles. But the service was horrible, servers are not very attentive for such a small shop and they seemed mad and rushing. The establishment doesnโt look very clean, especially the bathroom. After we paid, I was expecting to get my change for the bill so I can add tip because I always tip at least 18% even if I didnโt like the service; but the guy put it in his tip jar instead of bringing it back. Wouldโve gotten more than $2 if he had just brought my change back, but I guess you get what you give. Iโd rather get my roast duck at any other Chinese bbq establishment.

Service was great, friendly and homebody vibe. Ran here from home which was a mile away just for this plate of food I saw on social media. Itโs very good! I love how the sauce is on the side so you can adjust the amount of how saucy you want your meal to be. Very efficient as well with getting the food out. Only thing is the duck portion for this dish is very minimal with the fact that thereโs more rice than duck. Maybe itโs cause they know itโs their popular item so theyโre trying to be able to extend resource for bigger orders. Otherwise, itโs still pretty good. Theres limiting seating inside and out so parties bigger than 5 might need to make the owners aware

Incredibly tender duck with crispy skin! The jade noodles were delicious - fresh and slightly sweet. I especially loved the dipping sauce - epic! Portions are generous and staff were extremely kind. Thai coffee was phenomenal. A must try spot in LAโs Thai Town ๐
